  • How to find us!

For when you are hungry for more than just history!

Our Lydia and Sally Cafe features fresh home cooked lunches, including our famous Atlantic haddock chowder.

Our café is open
June through August, Wednesday through Sunday, from noon until 4pm
and weekends only in May, September and October.

Every Friday starting at 7pm we host a community BBQ on our patio.

Check out this week's special!
Unfortunately our facility was closed to the public for the 2020 season but we look forward to reopening in the summer of 2021. We are adapting all of our regular events with a focus on virtual delivery and outdoor, open air activities.  Over the next few months we will be dedicating time towards making our museum and gift shops' entire collections accessible online. As the warmer months approach we look forward to sharing some of our other ongoing community projects via social media, follow along with us as we adapt and grow!  facebook.com/AvonRiverHeritage
