Fundraising
We rely on the generous support of our community and visitors; our museum has no secure funding beyond our own fund-raising efforts. Volunteers are needed to help write funding proposals, assist with fund-raising events, and carry out much of our museum work. Donations can be made in person at the museum. Tax receipts are available for donations of more than $20.

- Replacing our septic tank
- Replacing disintegrating 25-year old wooden windows
- Replacing disintegrating shingles and wood trim

- Retrofitting (draught-proofing and insulation)
- Rain-water collection (eave troughs and rain barrels)
- New interpretive material on people and the environment
- Children’s and seniors programming
