The Avon Spirit Shipyard is a working wood shop that lends itself well to intimate events. Our rustic 3800 square foot open venue has the capacity to seat up to 150 people indoors and host up to 300 people for larger open air events like festivals and performances. For weddings and receptions the boathouse most comfortably seats 100.

Operated by the Avon River Heritage Society, the Avon River Heritage Museum and Avon Spirit Shipyard are located within the Newport Landing Waterfront Park in Avondale, next to the Avondale Wharf, along the mighty Avon River.
