  • How to find us!
Growing from community hall dances to a fully fledge music festival in their second year, The Basin Brothers' North Along the Shore Jamboree in Newport Landing, Nova Scotia features some of our favourite songwriters and performers.

Unfortunately our facility will most likely be closed to the public for the 2020 season and all of our regular events have been postponed to 2021. As we navigate through this new chapter we will be making the most of the situation. Over the next few months we will be dedicating time towards making our museum and gift shops' entire collection accessible online. As the warmer months approach we look forward to sharing some of our other ongoing community projects via social media, follow along with us as we adapt and grow!  facebook.com/AvonRiverHeritage

North Along The Shore Jamboree is a country, Americana, and folk music festival in Hants County, NS. The 2nd annual concert takes place on Saturday, September 18th, 2021, from 1PM-1AM at the historic Avon Spirit Shipyard in Newport Landing, NS. Located just 40 minutes from Halifax, North Along The Shore Jamboree showcases high tides, beautiful ocean views, and real live country, americana, folk, and roots music.

Curated by local band The Basin Brothers, the Jamboree is chock-full of musical talent.
