Yoga with Linda McLean
Join musician, writer, and yogi Linda McLean for a series of Dharma Drop In Classes held Friday evenings from 6pm until 7pm in the Artists Landing Gallery, located upstairs in the Avon River Heritage Museum. Open your heart to the unfolding spring and build your resilience in a safe and supportive space.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, I know you’ll enjoy my heart-centred yoga classes designed to help you experience a sense of inner calm and clarity.
Remember - “Begin at your own level - Progress at your own pace.”
If you are a beginner, rest assured that you will gain confidence over time. As you practice you’ll deepen your understanding of how your body works in movement and in stillness. Yoga sadhana (practice) will improve your daily life; known benefits include increased strength and flexibility, improved balance, as well as the ability to breathe more deeply, think more clearly, and enjoy an overall sense of well-being. Further, if you’re a gardener, musician or in any occupation where you use your body extensively, yoga can help keep you going efficiently and safely.
Please remember to...
• Leave your phone in the car and your shoes at the bottom of the stairs.
• Come dressed in comfortable stretchy clothing.
• Bring your yoga mat, any yoga props you like to use and a bottle of water.
I look forward to seeing you in Avondale and guiding you in your yoga practice.
